Meeting of the Viticultural Association. Analyses of soil on the slopes of the Arroyo Valley were conducted by Professor Hilgard of the State University. Selection of a spot for experimental vineyard had not yet been decided. Crabb examined the land and pronounced it among the finest character for viticulture.
