Proceedings of the first annual Los Angeles Convention of the State Viticultural Commissions. Crabb is not quoted, but attendees mention him, stating that he grafts all of his vines and that he regularly experiments with new vines in small quantities. He exhibited several wines at the convention, including a Pied de Perdrix (1882), Germany Teiuturein [sic] (1882), Malbec (1882), Lenoir (1882), Grosser Blauer (1882), Charbon [sic] (1882), port (1882), Seedless Sultana (1882), Sauvignon Vert (1882), Pedro Ximenes (1882), Cadillac (1882), and Angelica (1881).
